Delete your GP Emergency Referral account

GP Emergency Referral is provided by INOFINIX PRIVATE LIMITED. Referring doctors can delete their own account at any time, from the mobile app or the website. Deletion takes effect immediately.

How to delete your account

In the app

  1. Open the GP Emergency Referral app and sign in.
  2. Go to Account → Delete account.
  3. Enter your password and confirm.

On the website

  1. Sign in.
  2. Go to Account → Delete account.
  3. Enter your password, tick the confirmation and select Delete my account.

Hospital staff accounts are managed by the hospital: ask your hospital admin to remove your access, or contact us as below.

What is deleted

  • Your profile details: name, registration number and council, qualification, speciality and practice details.
  • Your contact details: email address and mobile number.
  • Your saved search locations and in-app notifications.
  • Device and push tokens for the website and the mobile app.
  • Your ability to sign in: your password is erased and every device is signed out.

What is kept, and why

  • Referrals, referral notes and call records you were part of, as medico-legal clinical records. They no longer show your name.
  • Call recordings, for 1,095 days (about 3 years) from the call, then permanently deleted by a scheduled purge.
  • Misuse complaints, payment and audit records, for as long as the law requires (for example tax, accounting and dispute resolution).
